ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF DODOMA – UDOM
The University of Dodoma was established in 2007 as a collegiate university with three colleges: Humanities and Social Sciences, Informatics and Virtual Education, and College of Education.
Subsequently, the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Health Sciences, Earth Sciences, and recently, the College of Business Studies and Law were established.
The formation of the seven colleges has been consistent with the University of Dodoma Charter and Rules, 2007, which envisioned the University structure to operate under campus-colleges mode.
In order to ensure smooth operations of the University, there has been the decentralization of University administration to the campus colleges.
Except for some crosscutting issues, the colleges are semi-autonomous as stipulated in the University Charter of Dodoma Charter and Rules, 2007.
Tuition Fees

Direct University Costs
In addition to tuition, students are required to pay direct university costs, which cover essential services and resources provided by the university. These costs include an ID fee, a one-time registration fee, examination fees, medical capitation fees, a student union fee, and a TCU quality assurance cost.
These fees are mandatory for all students, regardless of their sponsorship status or financial aid eligibility.
