The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) is a body corporate established on the 1st July 2005, under the Universities Act, Cap. 346 of the Laws of Tanzania with the mandate to recognise, approve, register and accredit Universities operating in Tanzania, and local or foreign University level programmes being offered by registered higher education institutions.
It also coordinates the proper functioning of all universities in Tanzania to foster a harmonised higher education system in the country.
Each applicant with multiple selections shall use a TCU provided token/code to confirm selection to ONLY one Institution, and the same shall be confirmed with TCU.
The Commission (TCU) emphasizes that applicants who could not apply for admission or they could not get admission opportunities in the First Round due to various reasons, they should make good use of this opportunity by sending their applications for admission to the colleges of their choice.
How to Confirm TCU Multiple Selection 2024/25
Candidates with multiple admissions are required to confirm their offers through their admission accounts. Please request a CODE, then enter the CODE on the given slot, finally click CONFIRM.
CONFIRMATION CODES helps to confirm admission through their Online Application Accounts to respective college/university.
4. Enter the SPECIAL CODE you received into your admission profile to complete your confirmation.
NOTE
Candidates with single admission are automatically confirmed to join particular University/college.
