ABOUT Mzumbe University – Mbeya Campus College (MU – Mbeya Campus College)
Mbeya Campus College is one of the three campuses of Mzumbe University. It was established in 2006.
The campus college is located at Forest area, Mbeya City, just a walking distance (about 500 meters) from the Tanzania/Zambia Highway.
The Campus College is adjacent to the Bank of Tanzania (BOT) offices. It offers a wide range of programmes ranging from Postgraduate, Undergraduate, and non-degree programmes.
The courses offered by the Campus College provide a wide choice to fit learning and skills development needs of various clients, students, individuals and organizations.
Mzumbe University Mbeya Campus College was established in January, 2006. Its establishment was due to high demand for higher education by many Tanzanians especially those who had reached advanced level of secondary education following the ‘Double Cohort’ in 2005.
The Government through the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology directed Higher Learning Institutions to admit more students.
To solve the problem, Mzumbe University implemented it by establishing the campus. Mzumbe University Mbeya campus college provides academic activities including teaching, training short courses and consultancy for the University.
How To check your application status
You need to follow these steps to view you application status:
1. Visit the official University or TCU admission website
2. Go to the ‘Login’ section on the home page of the college website.
3. Log in to your account that you used to apply to join University by entering your Username and Password to access your account.
4. Once you log into your account, you will be welcomed by a message informing you of your application status. If you have been selected, you will see a message saying “Congratulations, you have been selected to join University for the 2024-2025 academic year.”
5. If you have been selected by more than one university, you will see a message indicating that you have Multiple Admission; please confirm your admission. If you have not been selected, you will see a message informing you that you have not been selected and the reason for not being selected.
6. By following these steps, you will be able to check your admission application status at University.
For applicants who have been selected to join University, you need to download the Joining instructions and admission letter and follow all the guidelines and instructions provided in the joining instruction or admission letters regarding registration and other procedures to join the university.
